In the north wing of Zellwood Community Center, Zellwood’s museum is a treasure trove of memorabilia, highlighting wealthy and prestigious early citizens, the area’s agriculture, Timucuan artifacts, paintings by Edith Fairfax Davenport, and archival photographs. Discover Lieutenant Colonel Zell’s connection to President Lincoln and his role in establishing Zellwood. Sydonie, a turn-of-the-century mansion constructed by James Laughlin, Jr. of Jones and Laughlin Steel, is nearby. Museum admission is free.
